Martin and Kara at the corner of Killough Extended and Union (over the tracks) |

A huge thank you to Memaw (Jeanie) for coming to get Chloe at 6 am last Friday to help the four of us participate in World Cycle to Work Day. She took the kiddos to school and the rest of us left a car in town because I lectured the boys about the amount of cars on 64B and the bay road at 5 pm. I am always worried about distracted drivers at 5 pm. So we left Birdeye at 6:15 and got to that Killough/Union intersection about 7:00. I went on to the vet clinic and got there about 7:20, the others went to Colby's for breakfast then on to work. It was a great ride, a few dogs but no chasers, thank goodness. Martin and Kara almost got backed over by a minivan who wasn't watching, but other than that it was a fun ride. Highway 64B was getting busy from 284 on in so we were glad to get off that road since it was a school day. Let's all do it next year, I can't wait! Keeli
